Week 3

New project.

This at first didn’t seem something I would like to explore but turns out I was wrong.

This project is about listening and create images regarding a track which speaks about tea and its origins.

As I have difficulties in this type of tasks and how the speaker sometimes was hard to understand I copied the track and underlined the interesting parts I could explore.

Then I draw randomly as to get the feeling about what I just listened/Read into my skull.

I wanted to explore the fact that Darkness + Light side of the tea History so I made this quick sketch.

As I talked with my family about the idea, they found it interesting and valuable, so I extended it further to this:

I used this as foundation for my painting later on.

Then I needed to decide, as I wanted the picture to have a colour palette resembling the ones of tea but at the same time that they had darkness and lightness to it, so I done these

I know blue isn’t exactly a tea colour, but I thought it would look nice, but it didn’t.

AS I was waiting for feed back for my colour combination, I had an idea about the part where Johnson confirmed to be a “Happy addict so I thought I could use this to make him look stoned.
