Week One Minor Project:

The Minor Project will be focusing on character design, I believe this is the best for me as I think my character and body drawings need more work, as I do not think they can be considered professional standards yet.

This week has been difficult to organize and it made clear I need to create a well-constructed timetable. To do so I need better understanding of what I am doing; as a consequence, I begun the project by creating a mind map, and a list of interests which was further explored by searching videos about each interest which I am still working through.

What upsets me is the lack of mood boarding I am able to do as there is a lack of pictures I can safely use without worrying about copyrights, I usually use these pictures for better understanding of each interests and how they are depicted as a reference.

For character design, I believe I am going to use the books I found while I was studying in year 2. I also found this magazine “Anatomy Essentials”. I will find another way out for my figurate drawings to avoid the problem of not being able to look at nude people.
