I mentioned it in the previous post, I will be creating another card to have a pair that match.
The first thing was finding a mythological creature which can be used for The Moon card. This task was hard, as I did not know where to even start. My sibling suggested The Triple Goddesses, but their mythology goes too close to other cards. I eventually come up with the idea of using a werewolf.

With these initial sketches I begun to formulate a more concrete idea, which I explored further in these sketches:

I wanted the werewolf to be a woman, as the moon is usually a feminine figure in most mythologies and in more modern media too. I was still unsure of what to do with the werewolf, to have her as a whole wolf, a hybrid, a lady with ears and tail or a lady with a wolf pelt on. While I decided, I worked on the composition of the page.

I eventually decided to give her the paws of a wolf, this is from The Moon’s meaning of fear and confusion in the dark, until finding guidance in the light of the moon that makes the terror go away and see things properly.
With that done I moved to creating the dress design:

I re-created them in Krita:
The seventh design was the one that people liked more. Then the problem was finding a good hair style.
I eventually settled down to this design:
I have to take a slight detour here, I previously forgot to mention my back of the card design and I must explore this as I did create it together with this card.
The previous back of the cards was far too personal to be used in this context, so I chose to move back, and fully using my gut feeling that made me come up with the pattern design in my life briefs, which were fairly successful. I was able to create this:
I am incredibly happy to have done this as I created some gorgeous prints, such as these gradients:

Although I did not like the white part.
Returning to the topic at hand:
I did create the lino cut, but NEVER cut while tired, the following immage is why:
I visited the workshop, where I spent the afternoon (Which was a bad idea, as I had problems getting home.) But I was able to get some of pictures of the process:

The prints here beautifully made:
The Moon:
The back prints:
The next step are add the frame, name, number and coloring it in.
I had a few mishaps: the frame of the moon card looked totally different from the Death card but I thankfully found a fix to it.
Here are the results:

And this is the end result! I am so proud!
and of corse here is the final for the back!
